How to Install the Dialer

  • Download the dialler
  • Unzip the folder
  • Double click on "TataindicomInstall" icon
  • Click "Next" in the pop-up that opens.
  • Accept the terms and conditions to move to the next step.
  • Select the make, model of your phone and the COM port rom the drop down list and click next.
  • Restart your computer to star using the dialer.

Quick Activation Process

Gently scratch the silver strip on the ‘Activation Card’ to reveal your 14-digit PIN

  • Dial " *228 “ from your Tata Indicom Postpaid walky phone.

  • Choose the language of your choice. Dial 1 for English, 2 for Hindi, 3 for Telugu, 4 for Marathi, 5 for Tamil, 6 for Kannada, 7 for Gujarati.

  • For Postpaid, Dial 2. Enter your 14-digit PIN when requested.

  • Please hold the line when your Walky is being programmed.

  • Once you receive confirmation on completion of the programming. Please switch off your Walky and then switch it on again by pressing and holding the power button.

  • You will receive an SMS confirming that your phone has been programmed and also indicating your 8-digit Walky (10 digit Indicom 10) number.

  • You are now ready to explore the world of Tata Indicom Postpaid Walky.

  • For first 72 hours of activation you can avail -Local calls only (100 minutes), SMS and CLI feature. On completion of 100 minutes or 72 hours whichever is earlier, the services will be temporary barred.

  • The 100 minutes and SMS will be charged as Rs. 1/min or Rs. 1/SMS .You will get an usage discount of Rs. 100 in your first monthly bill for local usage.

  • On completion of verification formalities (within 5 days of your date of purchase of the card) all services will be activated as requested by you.

Before dialing *228 from your phone to activate your connection, please ensure that an SMS activation request has been sent by authorized Tata Indicom dealer.

  • Tariff plan is subject to change at the discretion of TTSL as per TRAI regulations.

  • Rs. 1299 is the price of the handset.

Terms and Conditions

Definitions:

"Service Provider" shall mean Tata Teleservices Limited; a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, having is Registered Office at Jeevan Bharti, 10th Floor, 124, Connaught Circus, New Delhi 110 001.

"Customer" shall mean the individual applying under the Combo Scheme for the purchase of an telephone instrument with one lump sum time payment and mobile instrument on an installment basis, as per the particulars set forth in this application form, subject to these terms and conditions and the term "Service" shall mean telecommunication and value added services provided by the Service Provider in connection with the Telephone Instrument and Mobile Instrument to the Customer pursuant to a separate application made by the Customer.

"Telephone Instrument" shall mean the particular telephone instrument obtained by the Customer from the Service Provider on a sale-by-installment basis, pursuant to this application form. “Mobile instrument” shall mean ______________

  1. The Customer shall make immediate lump sum payment towards the purchase price of Telephone Instrument and the down payment of Mobile Instrument as per Combo the selected Scheme as set out in this application form. The balance payments towards purchase price of Mobile Instrument as per the Scheme shall be collected by the Service Provider by way of EMI (“Equated monthly installments”/”installments”) from the Customer every month through the monthly billing of the Service Provider along with the usage charges from the Customer. The payments received towards the monthly bill shall be first adjusted towards penalty, if any, then the usage charges and then shall be first adjusted against installments and then towards usage charges\. All taxes and statutory duties (including on this document) shall be borne by the Customer and the Service Provider shall not be liable for the same.

  2. The ownership of the Telephone Instrument shall vest in the Customer after the immediate lump sum payment and of Mobile Instrument with the Service Provider after the payment of all installments till the Customer shall have paid the balance last EMI as per the Scheme. Upon payment of all installments At the end of tenure of -_____years/months or upon due payment of all balance installments, whichever is earlier, the ownership of the Mobile Telephone Instrument shall be transferred to the Customer subject to the Service Provider issuing a written confirmation to that effect to the Customer.

  3. The Customer shall be liable to duly honour all the installment payments without any default. The Service Provider reserves the absolute right to take appropriate legal action against the Customer in the event the Customer defaults in one or more of the aforesaid payments ("the Default"). The Service Provider shall also be entitled to disconnect/ terminate/ suspend the Service provided by the Service Provider to the Customer via the Mobile Instrument and to recover the Mobile Instrument provided to the Customer.

  4. The Customer shall neither have any right to transfer, sell, whatsoever the Mobile Instrument nor shall be entitled to create any charge, lien, or to hypothecate and/or create any encumbrance whatsoever on the same, until the Service Provider has issued an unequivocal confirmation in writing to the Customer (including in the bill/s issued to the Customer), of having received in full, the payments due with respect to Mobile instrument and of having transferred the ownership rights to the Customer.

  5. The Customer shall not use the Mobile Instrument provided by the Service Provider pursuant to this application form, for availing of telecommunication services from any other service provider, till all the dues in respect of the Mobile Instrument are duly paid.

  6. The Service Provider shall be entitled to change, alter, modify, cancel, suspend, whatsoever, the Scheme as it may deem fit either consequent to any Statutory or Regulatory orders / directions, etc or on account of any other reasons.

  7. In order to avail the Service from the Service Provider, the Customer shall be required to furnish the requisite application form, photograph and other information and documents as may be specified by the Service Provider and the relationship between the Service Provider and the Customer with respect to the Service shall be governed as per the provisions of the said application form and other applicable documents submitted/ furnished by the Customer or issued by the Service Provider.

  8. In particular, the Service to be provided by the Service Provider shall be subject to the Licence Agreement with DOT, applicable laws as amended from time to time, various judgements/decisions of the courts and law enforcing authorities and permissions/ sanctions from the Govt. authorities or private parties/persons for grant of right of way.

  9. Notwithstanding that the title of the Mobile Instrument shall not be transferred to the Customer until payment of all EMI's and all other outstanding as per the Scheme, the Customer shall be solely responsible for any illegal use of the Mobile Instrument and shall make good any loss caused to the Service Provider and its directors, officers, and employees (or any of them) on account of any claims, liabilities, demands, losses, damages, judgments or other obligations or rights of action, etc. which may arise out of such illegal use of the Mobile & Telephone Instrument.

  10. If the Customer elects to discontinue use of the Mobile Instrument or availment of/terminate the Service, then the Customer shall forthwith pay to the Service Provider, the balance installments as applicable. If Customer exits in between the months, then the remaining EMI amount as applicable would be paid by the Customer. Upon payment of the balance installments as above, the ownership in the Mobile Instrument shall get transferred to the Customer subject to a written affirmation issued by the Service Provider. The Customer shall be required to pay usage charges for the Service availed till the date of foreclosure of Scheme.

  11. Any expenses towards repair that are not covered by warranty shall be borne by the Customer and the Customer shall not make any demand whatsoever either against the Service Provider in this regard. The fulfillment of warranty obligations in relation to the Telephone Instrument or Mobile Instrument is the responsibility of the respective manufacturers. Under no circumstances shall TTSL be held responsible for fulfillment of warranty obligations and repairs not covered by warranty.

  12. The courts in the town/city where the Service Provider's circle Office is located (whose address is mentioned in the Handset Enrolment Form), shall have exclusive jurisdiction to decide any dispute under this Agreement.

  13. Any notice or demand required or permitted to be given hereunder shall be given in writing and shall be deemed sufficiently given when delivered personally to the Customer or sent by registered mail/ personal delivery at the residential address set forth in this application form or informed by the Customer to the Service Provider from time to time. Any notice or demand properly addressed and sent by the Service Provider by (a) personal delivery, shall be deemed to have been received by the Customer on the date of delivery and (b) registered mail, shall be deemed to have been received on the third business day after which it is handed over by the sender to the local post office. Any notice or demand sent by the Customer to the Service Provider shall be deemed to have been received by the Service Provider only upon actual receipt at its circle office address as set forth in this application form.

  14. Apart from these terms and conditions, there are no oral or implied agreements and no oral and implied warranties or understanding between the Parties with respect to the subject matter hereof.

  15. The Service Provider reserves the right to accept or reject at its sole discretion, the application made by the Customer under the Combo Scheme for obtaining the Telephone & Mobile Instrument vide this application form. The Service Provider shall orally communicate its acceptance to the Customer.

  16. This is a limited period offer. TTSL reserves right to withdraw offer at any point.

  17. Offer is applicable only for existing customers passing the criteria set up by TTSL

  18. Offer is valid till further notice. Any claim thereafter will not be entertained

  19. The free calling benefit will only be for home locations. Roaming charges applicable as per the plan.

  20. Offer is available only with select handsets.

  21. Lifetime means the license period of TTSL for providing the services as issues by Govt. of India(comment: is it applicable in this case)

  22. For getting the Scheme benefit both the dels have to be in active stage, If either of the connection gets disconnected the offer stands withdrawn.(comment: pls check about its relevance here)

  23. Once taken, the offer/calling benefit is not transferable to any other connection.

  24. Service tax at applicable rates and any other applicable levies will be charged extra.

  25. TTSL will reserve the right to modify /withdraw the plans without any prior notification.

  26. Discounts are applicable on the total monthly bill (exclusive of activation and other one time taxes

  27. This tariff plan is available for fixed wireless service only.

  28. Choice of the handset is subject to the availability of stock

  29. Telephone Instrument (Walky) is customer property, upon immediate lumpsum payment.

  30. The call duration is measured with accuracy up to +/-1 second as per TRAI regulations
